Detailed Start

🔑 Create your accounts

On Giant FlyFF you have one web account and can create multiple game accounts:

  1. Create your web account (email, username, password).

  2. Log in to your web account on the website.

  3. Select In-Game Accounts from Menu.

  4. In Create a game account section, create one or more game accounts.

Web account

Used only on the website. Log in here to manage your profile and create your game accounts. You don’t use this to log into the game client.

Game account

Used only in the game client. Log in with this account in the launcher/login screen to play. You can have multiple game accounts under one web account.

You only need one game account to start. You can create more later if you want.

🙋‍♂️ Create your first character

After logging in:

  1. Choose a channel.

  2. Click Create to make a character.

  3. Choose a name, gender and appearance.

  4. Confirm and press Start.

You will start as a Vagrant in Flaris at level 1 with basic beginner equipment.

Vagrant is first, beginner class. You use this stage just to learn the game and level up. At level 15 you leave the Vagrant class and choose your first real job (such as Mercenary, Assist, Acrobat and Magician) by Quick Job Change.

🧭 First steps in Flaris

When you appear in Flaris

  • Find Buff Pang near the bank and the north exit towards the first monsters (Aibatts).

  • Talk to Buff Pang to receive free, strong buffs (stronger than on the official FlyFF).

  • Take buffs again whenever they expire – they make leveling much easier.

Start fighting monsters

  • Stay near Flaris and kill low-level monsters close to town (like Aibatts and nearby monsters).

  • Use your hotkeys:

    • Put your food on hotkeys like 1 or 2 so you can quickly heal during combat.

    • Put your main attack skill on a nearby key when you learn it. Press K to show skills tree.

Try to fight monsters close to your level (or +3 more). If something kills you very quickly, it is probably too strong – move to a safer area. You can also press M to open the world map and see nearby monsters and their levels to pick a suitable spot.

🧙 Choose your first class

Your first goal is simple: reach level 15.

While leveling:

  • Keep using Buff Pang for buffs.

  • Use food and skills from your hotbar.

When you reach level 15:

  • A Quick Job Change window will appear.

  • Choose your first job directly in this window. You do not need to do any job-change quests like official FlyFF.

💡 What next?

Your character is ready to go and grow. Check out these tried-and-tested next steps to keep moving forward and understand the game more with every minute – instead of feeling stuck:

Step 1: Take a walk around Flaris

Before you rush into grinding, spend a few minutes just walking around Flaris. Click on the NPCs, check what they offer and which currency they use.

You don’t have to remember everything – the goal is only to feel:

"Okay, I roughly know where to find potions, food, gear and power-ups. This place isn’t a mystery anymore – now I just need to collect this currency so I can get that item later."

Step 2: Choose your focus

  • If you feel like pushing your level, open the Leveling Guide. Go to the spot recommended for your level and simply start playing there. Just follow the guide and watching your EXP bar move.

  • If you’d rather grow your wallet first, open the Farming Guide. Pick one beginner-friendly method and try it out – even a short session will show you how this server “rewards” your time.

Step 3: How to learn a new server

Instead of trying to understand everything at once, think in small steps: one walk around the city, one guide, one simple goal for today.

This wiki is here to be your first stop whenever you see something new: an item, NPC, currency or system. Just type what you’re curious about into the search bar at the top, or browse using the menu on the left.

You don’t need a perfect start. Just start – the rest will get clearer with every minute you play.
